His Story - Cpl. David Emery

Marine Cpl. David Emery's legs and left arm were shattered on February 7th, 2007 in a suicide bomb attack in the Al Anbar province in western Iraq. The 21-year-old Marine also suffered a severe abdominal wound and has lost kidney function. His wife, Leslie, who is seven months pregnant with a baby girl to be named, Carlee have been flown by the Marine Corps to be at David's bedside at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany.
